Tensor Fasciae Latae (TFL) richtig dehnen!
This video is about the correct stretching of the tensor fasciae latae (TFL). The TFL originates at the front of the pelvis, more specifically at the anterior superior iliac spine, and inserts onto the fascia lata and the iliotibial band, which in turn extends to the lateral condyle of the tibia. The TFL's insertion therefore doesn't directly affect the bones of our lower extremities, but only indirectly via the fascial tissue into which it radiates. I'll show you three exercises to properly stretch the TFL, taking its anatomical shape into account.
