City Council The City of Coeur d'Alene Councilors and Mayor are elected by the citizens of Coeur d'Alene and serve a four year term. The Mayor leads the City Council meetings and serves as an ambassador for the City. The Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm, unless otherwise noticed, in the Library Community Room. With the exception of executive session meetings, Council meetings are open to the public. Meetings are open to the public.
