Zentangle Pattern Bucky, Version 1

In the past few weeks while studying patterns in the poster “102 Tangles of Zentangle”, I have been using my first Zenthology book from 2019 and my updated Zenthology from 2022. (These are CZT only books.) I happened to notice that one of the older patterns called Bucky is different in the newer Zenthology. It is an older pattern, but it’s not one of the patterns in the 102 Tangles poster. I found it very interesting how the pattern has morphed into something new, so I decided to show the older and newer versions of it. This first video is the older version. I think I’ve only done it one time in the past because it looked too difficult, but it’s actually not bad. It just takes a little focus. I created my own step outs, and that really helped. I hope you like it. Next week I’ll show the updated version. Patterns used: #Bucky Supplies Used in the video: A 3.5” Zentangle tile or Bijou 2” tile (or any paper of your choice) Black Micron 01 pen or PN (or your choice of pens and colors) Graphite pencil Blending stump Optional: Colored pens or pencils Most patterns that I use can be found on the Tangle Patterns website https://tanglepatterns.com/ or on the Musterquelle website: https://www.musterquelle.de/ The Musterquelle site is in German, but you can change it to your language as needed. The Zentangle® Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. It was created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas.
