For four years, the wastewater in our friends' Hobby Vantana K60 caravan drained at a snail's pace – more of a trickle than a proper flow. The repair shop couldn't find the cause. So Stephan had to step in. The diagnosis: The Bowden cable of the wastewater valve was stuck, preventing the valve from opening properly. Instead of simply replacing the cable, we opted for the full upgrade: an electric wastewater valve with a manual emergency release. Solid technology, no smart home features – exactly what our girls wanted. Now the wastewater flows freely again, and no one has to go outside when it rains. Just switch it on conveniently from inside, and that's it. The diagnosis: The Bowden cable of the wastewater valve was stuck, and the valve wasn't opening properly.
