Making a Primitive Throwing Stick

The Throwing Stick or Rabbit Stick should be the first primitive tool you make in a wilderness survival situation. A Throwing Stick can be used to hunt, dispatch trapped game, dig, baton, drive tent stakes, and throw a line in a tree to hoist a bear bag.
