The Brooklyn Way Ep1 Part 1
The Lordz are the quintessential NY hip hop/punk band from Bay Ridge, and they live everyday the only way they know how, The Brooklyn Way. Despite ups and downs in their career from major world tours, to losing their record label, to rocking with their idols like Public Enemy and DMC, to working day jobs as a house husband/struggling artist (Mr. Kaves) and air conditioning repairman (ADM), these blue collar Bay Ridge boys (& NYgraffiti legends) are still reaching for the brass ring. This documentary series captures the compelling story of The Lordz as they overcome personal tradgedy, and try and prove that sometimes nice guys dont have to finish last. If only they could get a new deal and pay their electric bills.
