Layering gouache consistencies to achieve depth and  texture

 In this video I show you how how to layer gouache  from its thinnest watercolor-like  consistency for translucent and luminous washes in the sky to It’s the thickest consistency straight from the tube to create great texture and dry brush effects.  I share my process for analyzing and changing elements in my reference photo to create a better composition, to drawing a thumbnail concept sketch, to planning a color palette through a color study.
