This is the second day of my business trip to Singapore. A staff member who has lived there guided me to an authentic Indian restaurant, something you don't often find in Japan. While some dishes looked familiar, the use of spices and the layering of flavors were quite different from Indian food in Japan. I was able to enjoy the authentic taste in a unique local atmosphere. While Singapore is strongly associated with Chinese cuisine, its multi-ethnic food culture is also a major attraction.
