Building the Foundations for Digital Learning – Gorsemoor Primary School, Staffordshire

Based in Staffordshire, Gorsemoor Primary School’s journey is a powerful example of what happens when technology is treated as a foundation for long-term success. Recognising the need for a more reliable, secure, and future-ready approach, the school set out to transform its IT environment, ensuring it could fully support both teaching and learning, now and into the future. Working in partnership with Concero Education, Gorsemoor undertook a full transformation project - modernising infrastructure, strengthening security, and aligning with DfE standards to create a stable and dependable digital foundation. But the real impact goes beyond the technical. With the right systems in place, technology is now actively supporting accessibility across the school—giving staff the flexibility to adapt their teaching, helping pupils engage with confidence, and creating a more inclusive learning environment for all. From leadership visibility to everyday classroom experiences, the difference is felt across the entire school. Gorsemoor’s story highlights what’s possible when schools invest in the right approach to technology, moving beyond short-term fixes and building something that truly supports their community.
