Why Is Russia Offering Its AL-51F1 Engine Expertise For India's 5th Gen Fighter Jet AMCA | Explained

Russia has offered India access to its advanced AL-51F1 engine expertise to support the development of the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft, or AMCA. Rather than supplying a complete engine, Moscow has proposed sharing the engineering knowledge, design experience and technological lessons gained while developing the next-generation propulsion system for the Su-57 stealth fighter.
