Harvest Right Freeze Dryer ERROR! Unable to Achieve Vacuum Pressure. Troubleshooting & Repair. #DIY

Are you having the same ERROR with your Freeze Dryer? I found the problem causing our error. We recently started having troubles with our Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. While running a batch of food, we have been getting an "Unable to achieve vacuum" error. After checking all the troubleshooting tips in the manual and on the display it will usually finish the batch. However, it was becoming more frequent like something was wearing out until it would not finish a batch anymore. I decided to do some more troubleshooting on my own and found that the drain valve appeared to be failing. I also noticed some oil leakage out the front of the pump glass window. I went to work fixing the least expensive issue first and achieved success. I have not had a problem since making the repair. It has been working great for 3 months so far since the fix. Not sure if this is the fix for others if you are having the same error. Hopefully, this video will give you some ideas on what may be causing the same error. Good luck!
