The Eat with Heart Project - Mona's Roti (Pt. 1/4) #SaveHospitality #Toronto

2020 a year to remember. Toronto is a melting pot of cultures. As a native Torontonian, it’s been hard to watch some of my favourite bars, music venues, art galleries and especially restaurants close permanently. The endless closures and lockdowns as COVID-19 cases numbers sores around the world seem to have no end in sight. We’ve decided as a team at KTCHN Productions that we can’t save the world but why not use our talents to highlight some local narratives that we feel are important to hear. Directly from the source. From them. We all love to eat. So we decided to let our hearts light the way during these COVID times as we interview some of Toronto’s staples. We call it The Eat with Heart Project. Follow us down this rabbit hole where we get up close and personal to the feeders behind the scenes at Sneaky Dee’s, Mona’s Roti, Korean Village and Beast Bodega - and get their 2-cent on what’s going on with them. What sort of support they need from the public. And you know, a bit of their history. Didn’t you always wonder who were the nacho-masters that conceived the infamous Skullhead at Sneaky Dee’s? ------------ Director | Katy Chan Producer | John Trang Lead Videographer | Leonardo Tenan Camera Assistant | John Trang Drone Operator | Roland Csash Lead Video Editor | John Trang BTS Photographer | Marlowe Porter Special thanks to: Melissa Khan // Mona's Roti George Diamantouros // Sneaky Dee's Jason Lee // Korean Village Scott Vivian // Beast Bodega Nathan Middleton // Beast Bodega Copyright of KTCHN Inc. www.ktchnproductions.com
