Zafferano Idroponico- fase 5- La raccolta dei cormi

We've reached the final chapter of this experiment: after months of growth, observations, mistakes, yellowing leaves, and plants completing their cycle, the most anticipated moment has finally arrived... harvesting the saffron corms. In this video, I compare three different systems: 🔹 a control tray with soil 🔹 a pure Kratky culture 🔹 a hydroponic solution with expanded clay and coconut fiber The goal isn't just to see who won, but to understand what happened beneath the substrate: did the corms multiply? Did they grow healthily? Which system yielded the most interesting results? And above all: does it make sense to continue experimenting with soilless saffron? This isn't a perfect laboratory experiment, but a real, practical, home-grown test, filled with insights, delays, problems, tools to be better controlled, and so much to learn. And this is precisely where the value of the experiment lies. Finally, we'll draw some initial conclusions and discuss next season, where the goal will be to improve cultivation in pure Kratky, focusing on corm support, oxygenation, pH, and electrical conductivity. 💬 Tell me in the comments what you'd improve: coconut fiber, pure Kratky, or another system? And what nutrient solution do you think would work best for saffron? Because every well-done experiment doesn't really end with an answer. It ends with a better question.
