What begins as a relaxing trip to the beautiful Acheron Springs turns into the most emotional part of our trip. We find two helpless stray puppies who capture our hearts – and suddenly our entire route is turned upside down. 😳 When we learn shortly afterwards about the new law that prohibits camping for more than 24 hours at one campsite in Greece, it's clear: We have to rethink everything. Our planned route falls through. We spend the last few days in Karpero, near Mount Olympus and the impressive Meteora monasteries, and prepare for the journey home to Germany. With the puppies in tow, we travel through Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and Austria – a completely different return journey than planned.
