Manuel and the Music of the Mountains - Dancing in the dark

Manuel and his Music of the Mountains with one of the great "classics" of the American songbook. Written and published in 1931 for the revue "Band wagon" this "dancing in the dark" became famous in 1953 when the music was used in the musical "The Band Wagon". Dance legends Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse danced to this theme, which had been especially arranged for them. Since then, many other "legends" recorded a vocal version of the song, eg Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Bing Crosby.
