We set up camp beside a hidden creek deep in the forest, a place that felt like our own private oasis. Getting here meant crossing a deep water hole and driving miles of rugged backroads — but that’s half the fun of living off-grid and chasing quiet places. Once we made it to camp, we spent the day cooling off in the creek, exploring the area, and ending the night with Kellie’s chicken pad Thai cooked over the fire.
