Mimi Doe Tells Vinyl Voices About the New Niis Album: "I Hope You Don't Think It's Ass"

The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas is a must-stop to pay homage to the roots of punk, but it’s also a great place to see punk’s future. We met with one of punk's most exciting young acts, Los Angeles band Niis, which is known for strong songs like “Fuck You Boy” and a fierce live show. The band told us about their approaching album, Niis World, and how it reflects the punk ethos of community and support. They tell how they hope they’ve brought their high live show energy to the record and singer Mimi Doe is excited about the album but says she hopes we “don’t think it’s ass.” Pretty sure we’re gonna love it and you will, too. Learn more about the band in this chat (set against this killer backdrop by photographer Lisa Johnson), brought to you courtesy of The Punk Rock Museum and our series sponsor, Pusch & Nguyen Law Firm – they push, you win!
