Good waves always come with something in return. This session started with clean, fun waves under the sun, but the conditions came with a different kind of challenge. Low tide made the waves feel better, faster, and more hollow — but also more dangerous. Every takeoff needed more awareness, and every mistake had consequences. This POV surfing video was filmed at Suluban, Uluwatu in Bali, during a midday session. The waves looked inviting, but the shallow reef underneath made things real. Some rides felt smooth and rewarding, while others ended in wipeouts that reminded me to stay sharp. That’s the balance in surfing — enjoying the moment while respecting the risk.
