EAST JAVA, KOMPAS.TV - Police have arrested the perpetrator of the kidnapping and rape of a female student in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The perpetrator was arrested as he disembarked from a ship at Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya, East Java. The perpetrator was arrested by a joint team shortly after arriving at Tanjung Perak Port. Based on preliminary investigations, the perpetrator is suspected of planning another kidnapping. The plan was reportedly formulated while on the ship bound for Surabaya. The perpetrator is also suspected of creating new social media accounts to seek other victims. Several witnesses have been questioned, including the owner of the rented house.
