Brews, Views, Locks and Docks! Our Great Loop Adventure continues through America's Heartland

This week as we make our way toward the Great Loop, the crew of Hoppy Trails tours Dubuque, IA and presses on to Hannibal, MO. We make a fun visit to Moline, IL at the John Deere Commons, and make additional stops at Muscatine and Fort Madison, IL. In between stops, we enjoy nights on the anchor next to the lovely sand bars we find along the Mississippi. We encounter our fair share of locks, including our first lock with floating bollards, and run aground while entering a marina in Rock Island, IL! Introducing brewery reviews! It’s is a mission aboard Hoppy Trails to find all the good foods and brews. We’ll let you know what we find so that if you’re ever in the area, you’ll know if it’s worth a stop! Hoppy Trails is a 2019 Ranger Tugs R31CB, “Luxury Edition” (which means it has a generator and air conditioning).
