One Day in Papantla, & El Tajin. Veracruz Mexico.

Papantla, Veracruz,is a small town in Mexico, considered Pueblo Magico because of it's charm and picturesque architecture. It is filled with Totonaca culture, tradition, food, and language. Papantla is the birthplace of Vanilla, and home to Los Voladores de Papantla. "Papantla tus Hijos Vuelan" El Tajin is an archaeological site with impressive temples (pyramids) ballcourts, and many more buildings. We visited Xanath Eco Park to learn more about Vanilla and the vanilla orchid. We enjoyed a traditional Totonaca massage by a totonaca woman whom everyone called "Maestra" and experienced a temazcal.
