Thousands at huge Hunger Strike Commemoration in Castlewellan
Sinn Féin President Mary Lou McDonald was the main speaker as many thousands of republicans took part in a huge National Hunger Strike commemoration in Castlewellan Co.Down marking the 37th anniversary of the 1981 hunger strike in the H/Blocks of Long Kesh in which 10 young Irish republican prisoners gave their lives in the struggle for political status for their fellow comrades.
