It was formed in Ljubljana in 2003 by sisters Sasha and Sonja Zagorc who have started to perform together in their childhood, when they were still in music school. Sasha was studying classical guitar and Sonja flute. Later on Sonja switched to drums and they formed a girl band. Due to the small size of Slovenian music space it wasn't easy to find many female musicians. They made several auditions and Valentina (vocals) and Ket (guitar) completed the current lineup. Members: Sasha Zagorc, bass, backing vocals Sonja Zagorc, drums, backing vocals Katja Mavec, guitar Valentina Plaskan, lead vocals The quartet loves to perform on big stages and had many gigs in clubs and participated at many festivals as Metalcamp, Viva la Pola... Hellcats recorded their first single "Heavy Metal" in the beginning of 2010. All of their songs are written by sisters Sasha and Sonja.They are working on their debut album and are planning to release it in 2011.
