#JeongOVideo This anime is Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, which aired on TV in 1990 with a total of 39 episodes. Directed by Hideaki Anno of Gainax, it was broadcast in Korea on MBC in 1992. Contrary to records stating it was unpopular, I remember watching it quite diligently. Although it is a bit of a stretch to call it the original work, it was produced based on Jules Verne's *Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea*. I remember first encountering Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea through a pocketbook that summarized world classics. While the quality drops to an absurd degree here and there, it maintains a considerably high level of animation overall and overwhelms the viewer with a scale rarely seen in TV animation. Weaving together the lost continent of Atlantis and theories about the origins of humanity's extraterrestrial civilizations, the story unfolds in an intriguing way for conspiracy theorists like myself, but I also think it might seem absurd to realistic people.
