Houston Public Media Spelling Bee 2020 - Early Rounds

It's the biggest spelling event in Texas. 100,000 spellers from over 1,000 schools in 37 Texas counties participate. Spellers advance from a challenging series of school, district and regional spelling bees culminating with fifty-four spellers, kindergarten through eighth grade, competing on March 7, 2020. The Houston Public Media Spelling Bee is the nation’s largest local spelling bee program affiliated with the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
