As a tattoo artist who’s been tattooing since 2001, I started my career using coil machines. Around 2006, many artists myself included started incorporating rotary tattoo machines as well. As time has gone on, this has evolved to using pen tattoo machines as well as wireless pens and machines that run off separate batteries.
