This motorcycle route from Tiwintza to Méndez promised to be a peaceful adventure… until a relentless downpour began. Our plans completely fell apart. We ended up riding over 100 km in a torrential downpour, improvising, changing our plans, and facing one of the toughest stretches of the Ecuadorian Amazon.
