This video is not a guide to a complete overhaul of a GAZ-66 axle gearbox. However, it does provide useful information on replacing and adjusting the gearbox drive shaft bearings, troubleshooting, and assessing the wear of the limited-slip differential. We'll also discuss the consequences of increased wear on the cam and plunger profiles, and conduct an experiment with welding a worn limited-slip differential.
