Takeoff On A Busy Atlanta Morning (Delta 717-200)

Roaring out of Atlanta on a hot summers morning bound for Dallas Love Field. Really enjoy the 717 still, finding myself on them a bit more lately. Apparently 899 was my number of the day too. Had arrived a couple hours earlier on a CRJ-900 with a reg of N899SK only to wind up on this bird with a reg of N899AT. Date...August 15th, 2025 Airline...Delta Origin...Atlanta, Georgia Destination...Dallas, Texas Aircraft...717-200 Registration...N899AT Overall the flight was normal, slept for most of it. Didn't start off the greatest, despite boarding quite early in the process, arrived at my seat to find a women sitting in it, she got very hostile when, asked if she was in the right seat, was supposed to take the aisle, but to her a seat is a seat and I should just sit down and shut up. Exhausted and really not in the mood for attitude I politely let her know I would be taking the window I paid for and if she was going to have a problem with that I'd be more than happy to have a crew member come and sort out the situation. Proceeded to get up and let me in all the while letting whoever she was on the phone with know how F%&!ing rude I was being by asking her to take her assigned seat, and proceeded to rant to this person till the boarding door finally closed, which was quite some time as we were waiting for the pilots to arrive. While its a rare thing I hate entitled people who think they can take someones seat then get mad when asked to move.
