Sportsman 282 maintenance update-2 years in, still love this Boat! It’s been two years with my Sportsman 282, and while it’s had its share of challenges, I still absolutely love this boat. This video is an honest update on where things stand and the progress I’ve made so far. I’ve been working hard to track down a stubborn console leak, and on a recent fishing trip, I ran into a few more bumps — the navigation lights stopped working, the Seakeeper stopped functioning, the Mercury joystick broke, and the paint on the motors has continued to peel. But hey, that’s all part of the boat ownership journey! The good news? I’m continuing to work through the issues one by one, and my dealer has been really supportive throughout the process. Every boat has its quirks, and I’m committed to getting this one dialed in exactly how I want it. This boat still brings me a ton of joy on the water, and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.
