On October 5th, Brian’s 997 Turbo S was transformed into an RWB in front of a large crowd at Griot’s Garage, marking the first time a 997 Turbo S in the United States had been reimagined by Nakai-san. This RWB Seattle build is a testament to the art of Porsche customization, showcasing the passion and dedication of the RWB community. It embodies Akira Nakai’s vision—blending art and engineering to create a masterpiece that reflects the owner’s personality and style. This project exemplifies RWB’s commitment to excellence, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Porsche customization. This one-of-a-kind Porsche features custom, one-of-one wheels built by Evo Sixty One, an AirREX suspension setup, and paint-matched R1 Concepts brakes that seamlessly complement the RWB’s body color. Finished in matte Tiffany blue, the car pays tribute to Brian’s first RWB, Yamato. After completing the build, Nakai-san officially named it Hokuto, meaning “Big Dipper.” SPECIAL THANKS!
