Diamond Hill - The Edge of Ireland
When you see a picture of somewhere and think to yourself, it can't be that good in real life but go anyway just to find out, well Diamond Hill is all that and more! Deep in the heart of Connemara national park in Co Galway sits the perfect adventure. Explored mostly by foot, getting to the top of Diamond hill with a bike is quite the challenge. The ride down is steep to start with and has several options that mellow out as you descend. I set out early doors to avoid the hikers as it gets busy up there. I did meet a few and had the best craic with them as they never expected to see anyone up there with a bike. Views and memories to last a lifetime!
