Imran Khan on women's rights in Pakistan - UpFront
The murder of controversial Pakistani social media sensation, Qandeel Baloch, prompted much condemnation. Baloch's brother, who confessed to strangling her, said he "killed for honour" and had "no regrets". In this web extra, Mehdi Hasan asks Pakistani politician Imran Khan about Baloch's death and where women's rights stand in the country. "It's a very...painful aspect of our society", Khan says. The politician adds that the country faces a "cultural problem" and needs a "cultural renaissance".
