CryoSPARC v4.4: Reference Based Motion Correction

CryoSPARC v4.4 includes a new motion correction job, called “Reference-Based Motion Correction”, which uses a 3D map as a reference to improve per-particle motion estimates. Reference-based motion correction is an extension of patch motion correction. Using known particle poses and positions, precise movement trajectories can be calculated for each particle. In addition, the effect of radiation damage during an exposure can be empirically measured and accounted for by weighting.
