Yesterday afternoon (August 8th), a bus traveling through Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, was involved in an altercation when a passenger, having only swiped their electronic ticket but not pressed the stop button, verbally abused the driver, accused him of being deaf and not stopping at designated stops. Separately, in Yingge District, New Taipei City, a man stabbed his ex-girlfriend's brother after being rejected when she tried to reconcile with him.
