"This is a home for not only my family, but so many families" John, Alina and Macy Tran's family has been serving pho at Pho 79 & Caravelle since 1979 - the year they came to America. For more than 40 years, this restaurant has been the kind of place where people marry, celebrate birthdays, enjoy great food and find community. After Alex Pretti was murdered, they gave away over 150 free meals - creating space for people to grieve, share stories, and care for each other. The cameras have moved on, but Eat Street businesses still need support to survive this crisis. Our goal is to raise $130k - to provide every eligible Eat Street business with $2k in funding as soon as possible. We're 85% there.
