What's happening, folks! I'm back with another a-ha reaction from their 2022 album True North, and this time we listen to the remarkable "Hunter in the Hills," an intriguing concept set within rich, lush, and cinematic sonics. Indeed, I got '70s vibes from this in part, though it also felt like the theme to a television show. Oh, and I forgot to tell the anecdote at the end, but basically, my maternal grandfather used to listen to musical bandleader/variety shows like Lawrence Welk, and parts of this one made me flash to some memories of hearing "olde tyme" music as a little kid).
