Kućica za Mrvicu od ostataka brodskog poda | DIY projekat od ostataka materijala

Hello everyone and welcome to my channel! 😊 In this video, I show how I made a dog house for our dog Mrvica using leftover materials from my large gate and fence makeover project. For this project, I used leftover tongue-and-groove wood paneling from the wooden panels on the gate, construction timber I already had, and leftover paints and wood finishes from the previous project. I protected the wooden parts with Irkolin Classic wood stain and Irkolin Gold wax-based wood stain. For some details, I also used leftover paints from the gate and fence project — including wood finishes, concrete paint, and facade paint that I had used on the fence posts and foundation. The dog house has an enclosed sleeping area and a small open terrace. During the build, I also added extra insulation using styrofoam in the floor, walls, and roof, along with adhesive, mesh, and protective layers on the exterior parts. My goal was to turn materials that could easily have become waste into something useful, beautiful, and made especially for our yard and for Mrvica. 🐾 This was not a ready-made project or a kit, but a real example of reusing leftover materials: wood boards, timber, paints, coatings, and other materials left after the gate renovation. That is why this dog house is especially dear to me — it started as a continuation of one big project, but became something completely new and useful.
