The Prospect Park Railway - Episode 45 of Miniature Railway Britain. A visit to the Reading Society of Model Engineers in Prospect Park, Reading, Berkshire. We enjoy a trip on the ground level and raised track railways as well as a quick look at the 00 gauge layout in the clubhouse. Locos in steam include two Baldwin switches, Schools Class No. 901 Winchester and 7808 Cookham Manor, just like the real thing at Didcot Railway Centre. Diesel locos include. Hymeks D7017 and D7063, the former's full size counterpart is preserved at the West Somerset Railway. We also see 58001 and 50035 Ark Royal, which of which the full size examples survive today although the former is in France.
