Use LXD Profiles to Manage Virtual Machines on Linux

LXD provides a mechanism known as "profiles" to apply configurations to your virtual machines. You can apply profiles to more than one VM, allowing you to configure them as a group, rather than individually. LXD allows multiple profiles to be assigned to each virtual machine as well. In case profiles have conflicting settings, the last profile applied will "win" the conflict, and apply its settings to the VM. 📄 Documentation for LXD Profiles ➡️ https://linuxcontainers.org/lxd/docs/... 📺 CHAPTER LIST ------------------------------ 00:00 Intro to LXD Profiles 05:05 Multiple Profiles Assigned to LXD VMs 10:50 Practice Tasks for LXD Profiles 13:23 Hands-on With LXD Host 15:31 Create Custom LXD Profile With LXC CLI 17:03 Create LXD VM Using Custom Profile 19:54 Modify LXD Profile for Running VM 22:59 Understanding LXD Profile Override Priority Check out the Open Source Software playlist for more videos! 📺    • Open Source Software   Please follow me on these other social channels! ➡️ https://trevorsullivan.net ➡️ https://github.com/pcgeek86 ➡️   / pcgeek86   ➡️    / trevorsullivan   All trademarks, logos and brand names are the property of their respective owners.
