Transavia Airbus A321neo Takeoff from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

During this departure we were ready and waiting for takeoff clearance on runway 36C, when we taxied back off the runway. The captain explained this was due to a sudden closure of Belgian airspace which we were possibly going to fly through. Around 15.00 local time it was noticed that the atc-systems of the Belgian airspace controlled by Skeyes was not functioning properly. Skeyes controls the Belgian airspace up to FL245. We were just about going to climb past this altitude around the Dutch and Belgian border. With this knowledge we could then takeoff without it affecting us.
