Day 5 The Go Devil Run ‘24 (the last day) 11 Stock Flat Fender Jeeps +1 GPW Overlanding for 5 days

The 5th and final day of The Go Devil Run 2024. GDR as it has been called, is an annual vintage Willys Jeep Run. The first GDR was in the year 2020. The idea is to take stock Willys Jeeps (like they were in the 1940’s and early 1950’s) and recreate the kinds of trips that the early Jeep enthusiasts took. The rules are fairly straightforward. You must have the original L134 “Go Devil” engine. Tires must be biased ply, smaller than 30.5” tall and a style that would have been available back in the era. The dress code is styles also from the era. We are looking to be able to take black and white photos and not be able to tell they are from current times. Over the years we have had as many as 35 Jeeps attend, this year is our smallest group at only 11 “locker stockers” as they have been called. This video is the final day which finds us leaving camp just outside of Crown King, Arizona working our way down the “Back way to CrownKing”. The trail has some difficult spots (most can be bypassed) as you will see towards the end of the video, one Jeep lets his friend take over the driving and has a little fun putting the Jeep on its side.
