UW NEXT Webinar: Developing Your Board for Fundraising Success

In this installment of our Planned Giving Webinar series, United Way NEXT is proud to welcome Amy Crowell, Principal of Next Stage Advisors & Chuck Gordon, President & CEO of the New Kensington Group! Not only are Amy and Chuck both UW NEXT members, but they're both Founding Members of the Consultant Collaborative & Chuck also volunteers as a Planned Giving Faculty member and mentor too! Amy's UW journey began in 2025 as the Grants Manager at United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties. She has over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience & published the "A-to-Z Guide to Event Fundraising" after 11 years in nonprofit fundraising. While Chuck served as the Senior Vice President of Development at UW of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley for nearly 22 years. Plus, he helped build the largest major gifts program among 1,400 United Ways & ran the largest non-bequeathed endowment campaign ever conducted by a local United Way. He also spent 15 years of his tenure as a volunteer trainer, speaker and consultant for United Way of America, including 4 years as the national chair for United Way Worldwide’s Major and Planned Gifts Council. Together they've raised tens of millions of dollars for nonprofits & they have one question for you, "is your entire board engaged in helping your organization fundraise or only a select few members?"
