Nrityasadhana Centre For Bharatanatyam @ The Greater Springfield Community Festival 2026

Today's presentation is a vibrant Thillana, one of the most dynamic and technically demanding items in the Bharatanatyam repertoire. Known for its fast tempo, intricate footwork, and graceful sculptural poses, a Thillana showcases the beauty, precision, and energy of classical Indian dance. This particular Thillana is dedicated to Padmanabha Swami, Lord Maha Vishnu, and was composed by the renowned Maharaja Swathi Thirunal. Choreographed by Guru Archita Mehta, it is set in Ragam Dhanashree and Adi Talam. Performers: Agraa, Ria and Saadhana.
