Big Red Off-Road: Exploring New Lines Beyond the Usual Tracks

In this video we head out to Big Red with a simple objective: move away from the usual, heavily driven lines and explore something different. We took it easy, no rush, just reading the dunes and looking for fresh approaches. What we found were some very fluid lines, smooth, enjoyable, and surprisingly accessible. These are the kind of lines that give you confidence without putting you under pressure, fun to drive and not too difficult to follow if you stay focused. It’s a good reminder that you don’t always need to go extreme to have a great day in the desert. Sometimes, stepping just a little off the standard routes opens up a completely different experience. The full trail is available on the Wikiloc link below. If you want to try it, follow the map, take your time, and enjoy the flow of the terrain. A small note, but an important one. Bring a plastic bag with you. There are still too many bottles and waste left behind in these areas. It doesn’t take much effort to collect a few and make a difference. If each of us does a little, the result is visible. Let’s keep the desert clean, respect the environment, and leave it better than we found it. Drive safe, stay aware, and enjoy the ride.
