Wir reisen mit unseren Rädern in die alte Königsstadt Anuradhapura, zum ehemaligen Kloster Mihintale und zum berühmten Löwenfelsen von Sigiriya. Meist sind wir auf abwechslungsreichen Wegen durch Dörfer und entlang von Teichen und Reisfeldern unterwegs. Wir treffen auf einen weitgereisten einheimischen Fahrradblogger und auf Affenfamilien, die es auf unseren Proviant abgesehen haben.
