However, Mourad insists that he has not "stolen" it because he intends to return it after riding it for some time. Although Aram knows it is wrong, he joins Mourad in riding the horse because he has always dreamed of riding one. The horse actually belongs to a farmer named John Byro. When John Byro meets the boys with the horse, he recognizes it but does not accuse them because he trusts the Garoghlanian family, who are famous for their honesty. Feeling guilty after this incident, Mourad decides to return the horse secretly. The horse is eventually found and returned to its rightful owner.
