Stunning Greek Orthodox Wedding In Crete

Their amazing Greek Orthodox wedding in Crete was a dream come true for Emerald & Konstantine who travelled from the USA with many of their family & friends to take their vows in the magnificent setting of a grand Orthodox church. Going back to their Greek roots, the happy couple were married surrounded by 3 generations of their loved ones along with 8 gorgeous bridesmaids & 3 cute flower girls. Combining both American & Greek tradition, standing up beside the couple in church was a best man and maid & matrons of honour and also the Greek equivalent; a ‘koumbara’, all playing a very important role in Emerald & Konstantine’s special day. Ceremonial wedding crowns, Greek wedding candles & wedding favours were all part of this beautiful orthodox ceremony. After the wedding, the newlyweds & their guests celebrated with a typical Cretan dinner & reception party at a traditional Cretan wedding venue with breathtaking sea views. The celebrations continued after the meal with lively Greek & Cretan dancing with live music from a popular local Cretan band followed by partying into the night to a DJ with all the latest sounds.
