Transportation and tour support for sanatorium guests are provided free of charge by the Pyatigorsk Military Sanatorium. The idea for the monastery belongs to Pavel Vladimirovich Muzenitov and his cousin Konstantin Maksimovich Aslanov. It was they, along with friends and volunteers, who, with the blessing of Metropolitan Gideon, laid the foundation of a church in honor of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious on this site on November 15, 1998. In 2003, with the blessing of Bishop Feofan of Stavropol and Vladikavkaz, it was decided that the monastery would be a convent.
