Vettec Pour Using V Pad Technique
Dave Farley, CF APF-I shares his application method for leaving the frog exposed when doing a Vettec Hoof Care pour with a pad. In this video, he is using the Diamond Farrier Salamander pad, a pad that is 98% leather and 2% Latex, a very durable, flexible and water resistant combination. He chose to use Equi-Pak (blue label) but you could also do the same pour with EquiPak Soft or Equi-Pak CS. In this demo, Dave used a Kerckhaert Triumph aluminum shoe. Let us know if you have questions on other tools used in the demo.
